Kristin Faith

January 6, 2009 / Cindy Barclay / Meet the Family

We held you in our arms and prayed

He took you by the hand and led you home.

Special friends listen and love with their heart!

Thanks to my forever friend Cindy, who had someone paint this picture after I told her that I had dreamed that Jesus was playing with Kristin in a meadow in heaven….

Kristin Faith- July 23, 1983  –  August 20th 1985

Precious, in the sight of the Lord,

is the death

of one of His saints.

Psalm 116:15

Precious? That word gave me quite a problem.  I couldn’t figure out why it was precious to God when it sucked so badly for me.  I looked it up in Strong’s Concordance and did a thorough word study- Reread the verse with the full nuance. 🙂

Precious- “fully contemplated from every angle, a heavy, weighty matter”

Dear Krisitn Faith,

You taught us to live for eternity-

our lives are all but a breath.

God’s purposes reach beyond our sight

yet each day brings us closer to seeing you and holding you again!

Forever is ours because of Jesus-

I love you so much-

Mommy

Kristin Faith, fought the battle against retinal blastoma (cancer of the retina) in her brief earth journey.  Without a doubt, Jesus welcomed her into His arms and said, “Well done, little One.  I want you to meet your Grandma Joyce while we wait for the rest of your family to get here.  They’re going to be just fine- leave it to me- I do all things well.”

death, eternity, heaven, Kristin Faith, life between the trees, loss, new life

What a sweet, beautiful painting! The little girl looks so much like Kristin. 🙂 This painting make me think of a Precious Moments figurine I received when I had my miscarriage. The caption on the figurine says, “Safe on the arms of Jesus.”

Hi, I’m Cindy- 35 years of “livin” with my prince charming, Jeff. I’m a home maker, not a house wife, parent of 7, memory maker, mama bear, Nana to 11 & counting, Pastor’s wife and I’m daily amazed by the depths of God’s love.

I love reading, home schooling, encouraging others, playing the piano, worshiping, dating my husband, and planning parties and retreats for our clan. Someday, I really want a horse and learn to play the cello and viola.
