Joy to the Whole World-

December 6, 2012 / Cindy Barclay / "Treasure Trove" Blog Roll

“For God so loved the world

that He gave his one and only

Son, that whoever believes in

him shall not perish but have

eternal life.

John 3:16 NIV

The world!

God- loved- the – WORLD.

I get excited when I think about how wunderbar beyond understanding His love is! When I check my report on the back side of my blog, I literally get goosebumps when I see my little blog has visitors from China, France, Russia, England, Canada, Germany, Austria, Italy, and once, I even saw a visitor from the Vatican! WOW!

The Christmas message is JOY to the whole world– not to the elite, the chosen, or the poor and forgotten; not just to the Jew, God’s chosen people, but it is for everyone. For all are image bearers of their Heavenly Father and it is to all that the Christmas Message is addressed!

But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.

Luke 2:10

We’ve an unbelievable- paradigm shifting- revolutionary- story to tell to the nations- a story of truth that will break the chains of sin and restore them to their birthright- a life with God!

“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests.”

Luke 2:14

mediate on that all day! 🙂

For God did not send his Son

into the world to condemn the

world, but to save the world

through him.

John 3:17

You’ve been freed- emancipated- you’re forgiven- no more a debtor- Someone else took your punishment- Someone died in your place-

This is the GOOD NEWS OF GREAT JOY!

Luke 19:10 “For the Son of Man came to seek

and save those who are lost.”

We all are lost- without His light- we walk in darkness.

Without His love, we are thirsty and perishing.

Without His presence, we have no joy.

Without His grace, we stumble in bondage.

Without His life- we are bleeding and dying.

He is the good Shepherd- He has come to find and save those who are lost!

I’m so thankful that we can know our Shepherds voice.

“wunderbar beyond understanding” Love that when we follow His leading with our writing, He uses it according to His will–according to His purpose to further His kingdom here on earth.

Thanks for sharing another inspiring post!

Hi, I’m Cindy- 35 years of “livin” with my prince charming, Jeff. I’m a home maker, not a house wife, parent of 7, memory maker, mama bear, Nana to 11 & counting, Pastor’s wife and I’m daily amazed by the depths of God’s love.

I love reading, home schooling, encouraging others, playing the piano, worshiping, dating my husband, and planning parties and retreats for our clan. Someday, I really want a horse and learn to play the cello and viola.
