Only One God Loved Us enough to Die for Us!

The first 4 lines of the song,

“How Many Kings”

by Down Here-

should be enough to make anyone fall to their knees

in abandoned love-

surrendering to the unrestrained Love He has demonstrated to the world!

How many kings stepped down from their thrones?

How many lord have abandoned their homes?

How many “greats” have become the least for Me

jesusfeet

“How many gods have poured out their hearts to

romance a world that was torn all apart?”

Isn’t this the question of the ages?

There have been many gods-

from the Greek and Roman gods and goddesses

to the present day gods of Buddha, Allah, Mohammed, and thousands more-

There is NO god like our God-

Every other “god” demands working your way into their favor for acceptance

Only The Great I AM that I AM

says,

“You are broken, fallen, corrupted, sinful-

I WILL REDEEM YOU

SAVE YOU

FIX YOU

RESTORE YOU

LOVE YOU

SET MY SEAL UPON YOU

HOLD YOU IN MY HAND

JUSTIFY YOU

SANCTIFY YOU

CARE FOR YOU

LIBERATE YOU

HEAL YOU

RANSOM YOU

PROTECT YOU

STRENGTHEN YOU

SHELTER YOU

FORGIVE YOU

BY

DYING FOR YOU!

Only One did that for me- for you!

Thank God for His commitment to His creation- I’ve said it before but- I would have wiped us all out and started all over- what a patient, compassionate, beyond understanding God we have!!!! love you Edy!

That single question and it’s answer separates Jesus from every other political or religious leader that has or will ever live. Many kings have died tragic deaths, but only one King did that for me…

The words to this blog will make a beautiful prayer. I’m gonna pray it!!

Thank you, Cindy. So beautiful the way you presented Him with such a praise offering.

Glory Mid! I just know we’re barely beginning to see His love & glory! Let me know when the book is published- I want to buy it and more importantly help promote it 🙂 Hugs and He is Risen!

I guess that’s why they call it undeserved grace. We are broken and fallen without him, undeserving of his love and kindness. “but why were still sinners Christ died for us.” Thanks for that
    reminder this Easter!

[panel style=”default” title=”About Cindy” text_align=”left”]Jeff & Cindy

Hi, I’m Cindy- 35 years of “livin” with my prince charming, Jeff. I’m a home maker, not a house wife, parent of 7, memory maker, mama bear, Nana to 11 & counting, Pastor’s wife and I’m daily amazed by the depths of God’s love.

I love reading, home schooling, encouraging others, playing the piano, worshiping, dating my husband, and planning parties and retreats for our clan. Someday, I really want a horse and learn to play the cello and viola.
