God’s Hands and Heart

God’s Hands are Heart: Facts

God’s hands are used for blessing!

God demonstrates by His character, through His word, and by His action- that hands are to be used for blessing and bringing about His good purposes.

I bubble up with excitement every time I read Psalm 139:5– David tells us that God is surrounding us with the presence of His blessings.

“You go before me and follow me.

You place Your hand of blessing on my head.“

Could God possibly love us that much?

Do you know that His hand is ever stretching out to bless us?

[Tweet “If you don’t understand God’s hand of blessing- you can’t fully experience His heart of love.”]

Imagine God’s hand of comfort and blessing on your head- let that image replace the horrible images we’ve all seen when parents have used their hands to slap, smack, and hit their children.

See our Father God’s hand of love and guidance resting on your head instead of the hands curled into fists to threaten and intimidate.

Envision the active hand of God, never leaving, always guiding, always blessing us- instead of the hands we’ve seen that drop to inaction when their hands should have been helping and active!

From God’s perspective, He is the Father- you are His child- no matter how grown up you think you are. He wants to put His hands on you- to bless you!

God’s hands are different than people’s hands!!(that statement makes me want to SHOUT!)   Our Father uses His hands to bless!

His hand is a hand of building and blessing!

His hand does not crush or slap you down.

He guides with His hand of blessing!

He protects with His hand of blessing.

He re-directs with His hand of blessing.

He corrects and sustains and actively participates in our lives by His hand of blessing!

His hands stretched across past the chasm of our sin and brokenness and gladly received the nails that hung Him on the cross. His hand is stretched out to rescue and establish you in His blessings!

Maybe you’ve never felt any “hand”- blessing you. I. am. so. sorry!

If there’s anything I could share with you today is this!  “Run to God, your Father and ask Him to put His good Hand on your life! His hands are full of nothing but blessing!

Amen. In a “bless -less” world, our Father reaches across the bless-lessness. He touches. He loves. He heals. He redeems. He blesses…

My prayer today. “Lord, help people be humble and honest enough to to be touched by you…”

Amen to both of you! It’s been proven scientifically that “touching” heals… the laying on of hands is an age-old practice of relaying blessings/healing. God created us… He knew! ♥♥

Such a beautiful blessing you’ve given us in this treasure, dear Cindy. Thank you once again! I can think of nothing more heart wrenching than that scripture verse from Isaiah – He quite literally carved us into the palms of His hand. Makes me weep every time I read it, I do so cherish the thought.

His love is beyond my finite, little mind. But I feel His hand resting on my head. He is not only our great God- He is our Abba Father. Hope you are doing well this summer, Edy! You are so precious to me!

[panel style=”default” title=”About Cindy” text_align=”left”]Jeff & Cindy

Hi, I’m Cindy- 35 years of “livin” with my prince charming, Jeff. I’m a home maker, not a house wife, parent of 7, memory maker, mama bear, Nana to 11 & counting, Pastor’s wife and I’m daily amazed by the depths of God’s love.

I love reading, home schooling, encouraging others, playing the piano, worshiping, dating my husband, and planning parties and retreats for our clan. Someday, I really want a horse and learn to play the cello and viola.
