Can You Turn My Water Into Wine?

March 4, 2017 / Cindy Barclay / "Treasure Trove" Blog Roll

Life is many things; but one thing it isn’t-    is easy.

God is many things; but one thing He isn’t   -is  uncaring.

In my walk of faith- I don’t struggle with if God CAN- I wonder if He WILL…. Here’s my Psalm to the One who Can and Will- because of His great love.

[Tweet “Believe- #life is tough- but God is with you, He is 4 you, He is Mighty to Save.”]

Praises to the One who Will

Can You turn my water into wine?

Can You calm the storm inside my mind?

I am restless, want to run, when will life’s tough stuff be done?

Will You turn my water into wine?

Can you take this bitter? Make it sweet?

Can you turn my doubt into belief?

Tired of trying, so confused, how did life become this cruel?

Only You can make my bitter into sweet.

You alone are Mercy- no stranger to despair

Who but You is always near and shoulders every care?

You alone are True Love. You alone are Kind.

Only You turn water into wine!

Can You lift me from this pit to praise?

Will you chase my darkness- light my days?

Call me child- hold my hand- lead me to Your promised land

Will You lift me from this pit to praise?

Can you turn my sighing into song?

Can you take my weakness- make me strong?

Give my heart new melody, tune my heart with Yours

Will  You turn my sighing into song?

You alone are Mercy- no stranger to despair

Who but You is always near and shoulders every care?

You alone are True Love. You alone are Kind.

Only You turn water into wine!

Do you count my tears and treasure them?

Hold my trembling heart and call me Friend?

Hide me in your secret place, surround me with your grace

Do You count my tears and treasure them?

Are You making everything brand new?

Banishing all sin- and sorrow too?

Bringing wholeness, joy, and peace- Is this really true?

Are You making everything brand new?

You alone are Mercy- no stranger to despair

Who but You is always near and shoulders every care?

You alone are True Love. You alone are Kind.

Only You turn water into wine!

I know You’ll turn my water into wine.

I am stunned to tears at this precious reflection of yours, Cindy. So many more need reminding of this Comfort, as I always do, that I am happy I can share this far and wide with others (thanks to today’s technology and social media). Thank you so much for pouring out your overflowing heart to bless the rest of us!

Thank you Edy. I need Him so much- and He has never failed me- even when there were times I wondered- He shows His love again and again- doing the impossible with man- performing miracles of love. hugs

I needed this today. And I truly thought you were posting lyrics to a praise song, and then I saw Jeff’s post.

I sang this in my head as I read it. Someone needs to put it to music, my friend.

    Simply beautiful.

    Hugs and abundant blessings…

Blessings Susan- The words came so fast and it was a song as I was writing it – if that makes any sense? I’ve played around on the piano trying to give it a tune but it’s eluding me- I think I will pass it to our daughterinlove and see if she “hears” anything. 🙂 He is our True Love!

[panel style=”default” title=”About Cindy” text_align=”left”]Jeff & Cindy

Hi, I’m Cindy- 35 years of “livin” with my prince charming, Jeff. I’m a home maker, not a house wife, parent of 7, memory maker, mama bear, Nana to 11 & counting, Pastor’s wife and I’m daily amazed by the depths of God’s love.

I love reading, home schooling, encouraging others, playing the piano, worshiping, dating my husband, and planning parties and retreats for our clan. Someday, I really want a horse and learn to play the cello and viola.
